I grew up on the Niagara Escarpment, Grey County and I currently work and reside here in Collingwood. I am an active outdoors woman who enjoys activities such as hiking, caving, rock climbing/mountaineering, kayaking and paddle boarding. I am a certified Hike Leader with Hike Ontario and a qualified Outdoor Survival Trainer with Adventure Smart. I also bring with me 9 years Search & Rescue experience (rtd) on a Provincial Volunteer Team, GBVSAR, under OSARVA, who are the governing body for Volunteer Search & Rescue teams within the province of Ontario. In 2016, I completed the Bruce Trail, End-to-End, 900 kms from Queenston to Tobermory, and I am a member of three clubs, The Blue Mountain club, the Sydenham Club and the East Caledon Club. I lead hikes for enthusiastic hikers within these groups. I am also a self described Upper Canada researcher and historian and love the history that is told along the Bruce Trail. The combination of life experience, search & rescue skills, outdoor survival instructing, and the love of the outdoors, brings me to hiking, both alone and guiding people on the trails, in a fun, safe and responsible way .
